An alignment of stars has journeyed to Chicago's historic Uptown Square Entertainment District over the past several decades, bringing an amazing diversity of music styles to Uptown's beautiful and mammouth music venues. Music eras, including the Jazz Age, The Big Band Era and the Rock Era have exploded on the streets of Uptown, bringing with them new generations of music-lovers. Broadway and Lawrence Avenues have seen the likes of Frank Sinatra, Benny Goodman, Lawrence Welk, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, The Kinks, Janis Joplin, Led Zepplin, Bruce Springsteen, Dino Latino, Prince, Circiut Mom, Wynton Marsalis, Ani DeFranco, Snoop Dogg, Flogging Molly and more.
